eAccounts is a firm of chartered accountants and a Xero Platinum Partner. We’re Xero accountants for UK small businesses and online sellers: we keep your books in Xero, file your VAT returns and year-end accounts from it, and give you a dedicated accountant who knows your file. Packages start from £29 + VAT per month, with your Xero subscription included.
All-inclusive: From £29 + VAT per month
Everything included. Nothing extra.
At eAccounts, we specialise in Xero for UK limited companies, sole traders, landlords and online sellers. Your own accountant works in your Xero file, so the books, the VAT return and the year-end accounts all come from the same place.
Plenty of accountants will say they use Xero. Xero gives the firms in its partner programme a status, and the levels run from partner through bronze, silver and gold to platinum, the top one (Xero partner programme). eAccounts has been a Platinum partner since 2019, and our Xero advisor profile also lists us as a migration specialist and a payroll specialist.
What that means for you is an accountant who is not learning Xero on your file. The mistakes that cost money are rarely dramatic. A bank feed that pulls in the same transaction twice. A marketplace payout posted as one lump of income. VAT codes set on day one and never looked at again. They sit quietly in the accounts until a VAT return or a year-end does not add up.
As a Xero Platinum Partner, we handle the full Xero setup, integration and training, so you don’t start with a login and an empty chart of accounts.
From then on we connect and reconcile your bank feeds and code your sales and costs to the right accounts. Our bookkeeping services page has the detail. We prepare your VAT returns from those records and send them to HMRC. All VAT-registered businesses should now be signed up for Making Tax Digital for VAT, which means digital records and compatible software (GOV.UK), and Xero says its software is HMRC-recognised for MTD for VAT. Our VAT returns service covers the rest.
At the end of the year, your year-end accounts and company tax return, or your personal tax return if you’re a sole trader, come from the same Xero file. No spreadsheets passed back and forth.
If you have staff, pay runs, payslips and pension auto-enrolment can run through Xero payroll as well, so wages land in your accounts without re-keying. Our payroll and pensions page explains how that works.
We are a Xero Platinum Partner. Xero is the accounting software in every package: bank feeds, invoicing and real-time reports, with the subscription included in your monthly fee.
Marketplace payouts are where Xero files most often go wrong. Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Shopify and TikTok Shop pay you a net amount after fees, refunds and sometimes VAT have come off. Post that deposit as sales and your turnover, your VAT and your profit are all wrong.
We connect your selling accounts to Xero with Link My Books. Taking eBay as an example, each payout becomes a summary invoice with sales, refunds, fees and taxes mapped to the right Xero accounts, and Xero matches it to the deposit when it arrives in your bank feed (Link My Books). You see real margins in Xero, not a bank balance that only looks like profit. Our ecommerce accountants page goes platform by platform.
Making Tax Digital for Income Tax has started. According to GOV.UK, sole traders and landlords registered for Self Assessment with qualifying income over £50,000 in 2024 to 2025 needed to start from 6 April 2026. The threshold drops to £30,000 (based on 2025 to 2026 income) from 6 April 2027, and to £20,000 (based on 2026 to 2027 income) from 6 April 2028.
You’ll need digital records and quarterly updates to HMRC. Xero states that its software is HMRC-recognised for MTD for Income Tax and can submit those updates directly. If you’re a sole trader or landlord not yet on Xero, it’s better to be set up before your start date than in a rush after it.
If you’re coming from spreadsheets or another package, we move your financial data into Xero and make sure it transfers accurately.
If you already use Xero, tidying up your existing file is included, unless your books are due less than 12 months.
Switching accountant is handled for you too. Once you sign up we contact your previous accountant, request the professional handover, obtain all relevant records and onboard you onto our systems.
Tell us how your business trades and which platforms you use, and we will give you a fixed monthly price. Get your free quote or book a meeting, or call +44 29 2105 5592.
This page is general information, not tax advice for your business.
Our packages start from £29 + VAT per month, and the price includes your Xero subscription. The final figure depends on how your business trades, which platforms you sell on and whether you need extras like payroll. The quote tool gives you a tailored price in under 2 minutes.
Not legally. Xero records what you put in, but it doesn’t decide how a transaction should be treated for VAT or tax, and it won’t tell you a payout has been posted wrongly. An accountant who works in Xero checks those decisions and files your returns from the same records. We’ve written more on whether you need an accountant if you use Xero.
Xero’s partner programme has five status levels: partner, bronze, silver, gold and platinum. Platinum is the highest, and eAccounts holds it. We have been a Platinum partner since 2019.

We connect Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Shopify and TikTok Shop to Xero with Link My Books. Each payout becomes a summary of sales, refunds, fees and taxes, and Xero matches that summary to the deposit in your bank feed.

Yes. VAT returns are prepared from your Xero records and filed with HMRC, including UK VAT, OSS and IOSS where they apply. Making Tax Digital for VAT is covered because Xero is HMRC-recognised compatible software.
